Engagement is what we all desire in an organisation. According to Schaufeli, engagement consists of vigor, dedication, and absorption. In a recent study, The Contribution of Work Engagement to Self-Perceived Health, Work Ability, and Sickness Absence Beyond Health Behaviors and Work-Related Factors, 2014, Schaufeli emphasizes the relationship between engagement and professional performance. Nevertheless, even if Schaufeli can be called the father of engagement, Great People Inside supports you through a more complex approach, while still maintaining simplicity. On the other hand, there are authors who trace the connection between engagement and emotions such as enthusiasm, inspiration and liberty (Dale Carnegie, Emotional Drivers of Employee Engagement). If we were to refer to other theories, we would eventually measure at least 200 behaviours in order to have valid and usable information. Great People Inside brings together elements of conscientiousness as well as emotional attachment, enthusiasm, and perseverance. We have not overlooked values such as loyalty, respect or honesty in an instrument for the prediction of engagement, with a validity (Cronbach Alpha Reliability) of 0.88.
